The University of Urbino Carlo Bo has awarded its University Seal to our co-founder and CEO, for turning deep roots in the territory into productive capacity open to international markets, and into opportunities for people to train and grow professionally.

Costanzo Felici Academy A programme to promote the hinterland by highlighting Costanzo Felici: a Renaissance physician, botanist, naturalist, and historian, author of the renowned “Letter on Salads”.
A festival that supports young musicians and promotes cultural participation in the villages of the region.
Named after Piobbico historian Delio Bischi and his wife: each year it honours those who bring pride to Piobbico, reviving the history, culture, and knowledge of the territory.
A festival exploring microarchitecture and the regeneration of places: site-specific installations, workshops and meetings between schools, universities and professionals to redesign spaces on a community scale.
Radici d’Acciaio is an award created in collaboration with ALUMNI Uniurb. The selection is strictly reserved for people originating from our mountain hinterland who have undertaken a course of study linked to the University of Urbino or maintain any form of collaboration with it.
The Junior edition rewards each year the ability and dynamism of the best student at the Piobbico Hospitality Institute and includes a scholarship to invest in their professional development. The goal is to support talent, education, and ties with the territory, celebrating stories that inspire the new generations.
A hands-on programme to introduce students and recent school leavers to welding and stainless-steel fabrication. From safety to TIG/MIG techniques, through to inspections and quality: classroom lessons, workshop practice and project work on real products, guided by company mentors.
The Academy was created to develop marketable skills, provide career guidance and promote a culture of “doing things well”: precision, method, responsibility and collaboration.
A hub of initiatives that enhance quality of life: parks, music, traditions and social events. From the town band to the Parco Acque Minerali, through to the Sagra del Polentone: we support what brings people together and expresses the identity of the region.
The approach is pragmatic: listening to needs, providing organisational and financial support, and working with associations and local authorities to deliver concrete results.
The Academy aims to promote the hinterland by highlighting the figure of Piobbico-born Costanzo Felici: physician, botanist, naturalist, and historian — an exemplar of the Renaissance man of science.
A great connoisseur of local herbs for medicinal and culinary use (see the “Letter on Salads”), he was among the first biographers of the Montefeltro, Malatesta, and Brancaleoni families. The Academy promotes outreach initiatives, thematic trails, and educational activities open to schools, citizens, and visitors.
The award is named after the last great historian of Piobbico, Delio Bischi, and his wife. With dedication, Delio Bischi brought back to light the history of Piobbico and its district, rediscovering the figure of Costanzo Felici and documenting the presence of woad (Isatis tinctoria), the plant of the famous blue dye.
This recognition annually honours those who, through their work, bring prestige to Piobbico, fostering memory, identity, and community pride.
